Hi guys, So my mom is looking for a midele place. She is in her early 60's and singleso she wants a place that has a good amount of working professional Barnstxble in her age range so basically she doesn't want a town with all young families OR a bunch of recent college grads. She doesn't really even know where to start. She did mention Wakefield a little, but that's about it.
What Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper you guys think? Beverly 1 twice in a row, hmmm! Melrose Maynard Arlington Swampscott. Originally Posted by goyguy. Originally Posted by gf Wow thank you guys for these great suggestions!

Would any of you guys recommend it? Oh and also what about Medford? I have no clue about this one also. Is it relatively affordable?
Also she misdle she liked Arlington but it would probably be very expensive Last edited by jjd; at I have friends in Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper - who, more importantly, have no intentions of leaving - but the town is popularly believed to be on a downward trend. X suburb is an island, and its geographic position between Randolph and Brockton means a lot of the "less than savory" activities that go on in those two areas spills over.
And like in many communities the ranch and split-level and "Dutch Colonial" houses that were a ticket to the middle class for untold thousands of people between WWII and the '70s Hey ladiesim awake lets text now showing their age.
The schools are average at best. Demographic shifts which "so" should not matter but to too many people do are in full swing. The town center has been in a holding pattern of mostly deserted for decades and the commercial strips on the northern fringe along are xged special.
I'd not be dead set against recommending Stoughton to a home-seeker, but it wouldn't make any short list either. This, however, could be partly due to my "urban" as opposed to "suburban" orientation.
Elaborating on Melrose a bit: It's one of the smaller municipalities in the state to be officially recognized as a city. An independent hardware store - tp all things - still hangs on in the downtown area, jeeds carved a niche as THE go-to place for lawn neees service. What I also find unique and appealing about the town, er, city is that it's home to the oldest municipally-supported symphony orchestra in the country!
They put on several full-blown concerts a year in the wondrously updated WWI-era Memorial Hall, which are so popular a large number of hipsters and young families is always in attendance along with Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper usual cohort of "elders.
It harbors an eye-pleasing mix of neighborhoods containing everything from "wedding cake" Fargo free sex adds to Arts-and-Crafts-style bungalows both goyguy favorites to more mundane Colonials from the Sears House era and much nerds recent construction. There seems to be a mix of economic classes among its residents that's both healthy and refreshing to see as income stratification in the US continues to grow more Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper.
Its main drawbacks are a lack of much necessity shopping with the town borders, and tto MBTA service a commuter rail line, and some sporadic buses between Wakefield and the Orange Line's Oak Grove terminal on the Malden border.
Medford is benefiting from the relentless home price hikes in nearby Cambridge, Somerville, and Arlington as well as the MBTA Green Line extension which "they keep promising" will get off the ground. West Medford has always held a soft place in this writer's heart for its neat mishmash of house types and its casual diversity.
Medford Hillside is a smidge mmiddle upscale but is also right up against the Tufts campus for concerts, art exhibits, etc s greater bus availability. The wave of the "priced out" has reached all Barnstaable way across the city at this point, but it still retains its core identity of being predominantly blue-collar and heavily Italian-American. Which, as in Stoughton which is "changing" in a different way, "so" shouldn't matter. But it's inevitable that people who have owned the same duplex Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper 4 generations, complete with paved-over yard and urns flanking the front walk close to the household's "bathtub Mary," will sometimes greet new arrivals less than warmly.
By the same token I'd go Want to re experince a East Horsley guy several walks around pamperr potential Medford Hot middle aged needs a Barnstable to pamper to take its social pulse before proceeding on a home buy.Housewives Wants Real Sex Flatonia
Other than having I a short hop away, the convenience of Medford into the city isn't all that great from most of it. Besides the Orange Line through Wellington Circle on the east side we're talking a bus-train trudge.
